MamaBaby Haiti is a non-profit birth center and health clinic in northern Haiti that provides a safe place for Haitian women to receive compassionate and respectful free birth, postpartum, and gynecological care by Haitian midwives. Founded in 2010 by Wellness Advocates Jennifer Gallardo and Patricia Couch, MamaBaby now has a clinic, mobile clinics, maternal nutritional programs and neonatal aftercare. In 2016 they founded the MamaBaby Midwifery School, educating a new generation of Haitian midwives.

Jennifer and Patricia teamed up with Diamond Sponsor Korina Buehrer to apply for matching support from the doTERRA Healing Hands Foundation® to help fund the MamaBaby Haiti Midwifery School.

“Every morning you can hear the waiting room of MamaBaby break out into singing and prayer, as over 30 women start their day waiting to be be seen by the midwives. Every night you hear the rap rap rap on the gate as women come in labor to the sanctuary and safety of MamaBaby to be tended to with loving care by the midwives.”
