Care for Brazil cares for children from poor neighborhoods in semi-boarding schools and provides food, clothing, day care and education in different regions of Brazil. Lábrea is located on the Purus River, a tributary of the Amazon. Many children who receive assistance come from the Villa Falcão neighborhood (5,000 inhabitants), which is considered one of the poorest areas in Lábrea. The new semi-boarding school was opened last year. This year we want to build a wall around the school for the safety of the children and a house for the caretakers.
