Haiti Mama works to reunite families separated by orphanages, homelessness and exploitation. We empower families to reach sustainability through social work, education and employment. A permanent housing grant empowers hard working parents to achieve total independence. There are 5 mamas eligible for a housing grant this year! 5 parents who work at Haiti Mama purchased land with their own savings! The progress these mamas have made since reunification is incredible. Mama JMac was homeless when 2014 and didn't believe she would ever be able to provide for her children. Land ownership empowered Mama Literson to escape years of sexual and physical abuse. Mama Deja purchased land in a peaceful, quiet village outside of the city to be free of gangs and gun violence. Owning a home empowers each family for many generations to come.
