The Renand Foundation has already built a school in Bassin Bleu, Now, we are building a 2nd one in Lamandou. We currently sponsor this school. We have 78 students, 5 teachers, 1 principal, and 1 cook. The building is a row of 5 small rooms with low metal roofs and no windows. This “school” is in a property that belongs to a church that wants to demolish it to build a bigger church. We already purchased a piece of land in Lamandou and started building a bigger school that will have 9 classrooms, 1 cafeteria, 1 library, & many other amenities. We will provide education to 300 students and jobs to 9 teachers, 1 principal, 1 administrator, 1 librarian, 3 cooks, 2 housekeepers, & 1 security guard. We need to raise $54,000 & need to finish this project by 09/06/2021.
