Building a new therapy center for up to 100 disabled children in the slums of Nairobi is our big goal. Improving lives, empowering individuals and creating sustainable changes are basic missions of our organization. For many years we have been giving care, food, education and therapy to special kids. Working in the 3rd biggest slum of Nairobi we solved already a lot of challenges in supporting our needy children. The most important part will be the physiotherapy rooms for the necessary daily treatments. The major problem of disabled children in Africa is the fact that they have no political lobby. They are not part of the society as the common believe is still that disability is a curse of god. Many times we found children locked up and forgotten in sheds, chicken cages or similar places. Our community is made up of 95% single mothers with 3 to 7 kids on average, where at least one child is handicapped.
