The Lampstand is the only residential program in Virginia dedicated to serving juvenile survivors of sexual exploitation and trafficking. Their 90 day program will provide a safe space and comprehensive trauma-informed care for girls ages 12-17 years old. The Lampstand exists to support survivors as they begin their journey of healing. They focus on safety, stability, therapy, spiritual growth, goal setting, life skills, and education. When donating to this project your efforts are doubled by the dōTERRA Healing Hands Foundation. We are working to provide the funds for them to purchase one van for transport of the girls both individually and as a group for functions, therapies, church, etc. With any additional funds raised we aim to create a hygge/ wellness space in adjunct with their sensory room, providing the girls a peaceful space with a sense of coziness and tranquility where they can feel safe to retreat for quiet time, prayer time, to read, or to receive care and counsel.
