Team Zenoni, (Ret. USMC Master Sergeant Dean Zenoni and Dr. Lorri Zenoni), rode the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route (GDMBR) from June 11-August 8, self-supported from the Canadian Border to the Mexico Border crossing 5 states and 2624 miles in 59 days on bicycles. The GDMBR is the world’s longest, mapped, off-pavement cycling route and named as a top 100 National Geographic American Adventure. During these periods of isolation and lockdowns, Team Zenoni found it more important than ever to connect with nature and focus on a healthy lifestyle. They rode the GDMBR to bring awareness to the importance of nature and movement for the physical and mental health of our service members and veterans. This project will benefit the Semper Fi & America's Fund's Integrative Wellness program. The Program applies a holistic approach to long-term health, providing tools to improve mind, body and spirit, for our combat wounded, ill and injured. Post-ride speaking events are available.
