What helps is giving youth access to safe shelter and services. Some youth of ages 18-24 have no family to help them learn self-reliance. As parents of teens, we know that keeping youth safe goes beyond the family sometimes. For decades, Arbor Youth Services has served at-risk youth in Central Kentucky, giving them safe shelter and self-reliance services. Writing résumés and finding safe housing are crucial skills.
