Violent conflict may damage a child’s environment dramatically. It can expose a child to manifest a higher rate of mental disorders, and trigger what psychologists call post-traumatic stress-PTSD. The help of a specialist is VITAL in recovering kids/people in such stress. We can help them integrate the traumatic experience, adapt and regain control over their lives with our specialists. ANCOR wants to provide them a stress-free environment. These children and their mothers have wounds that will not heal on their own. They are destroyed for life if they are not helped properly NOW. We want to support children and their mothers to recover and have a proper life. As long as they stay in Romania, we want to provide them experiences to play again. To eat quality food. To have a home, something to wear, and toys they didn't have time to take from their houses. They had to leave everything behind. The children need to be helped. Need love. Need protection.
