Islands in the Bahamas are high Impact Areas for Hurricanes. Providing training for young adults in CPR and First aid, Blue Hui Inc, also gives them Run Bags. This empowers those already on the ground when a disaster strikes to respond immediately. Waterproof Run Bags that float are filled with wound care items and Doterra products for sanitation, first aid and emotional support. Helping prevent shock and infection before outside help arrives can save lives. Local Coordinator, Coach and Teacher Audley Dean, will use these resources to effectively enable Bahamian teens and team leaders to be of assistance minutes after a hurricane passes. Teaching them to source local plants for first aid when the Run Bag supplies run out assures they will be prepared to assist their community long term. Wellness Advocate Rebecca Goff is working to supply 100 Run Bags for the Bahamas Team project through Blue Hui Inc with your help.
