A group of us along with Dr. Eric McIntire will be headed to Dominican Republic with 500 - 72 Hour emergency kits for Haitian Refugees. We will be serving daily at the Star Fish Foundation clinic in Puerto Plata. At the clinic, we will be providing free medical care to the local people who are in the area. We will be providing help to locals as well with food, medical treatment. If people there need to go to a hospital they need to bring their own pillow, sheets, blankets and family member to care for them while they recover. We are going to offer relief with food, SOC massage, medical treatment and supplies. This is giving them a chance to get medical care for themselves and their family at no cost to them. At the last visit one of the men that was treated said: "I felt like the world was on my shoulders when I first came here, now, I feel like there is less burden."
