Quality education involving qualified staff are keys to a successful future for the children in need. We ensure every child’s right to education until they are prepared to live independent lives. At SOS Children’s Villages Romania we ensure that all children from alternative care and family strengthening programs receive education and training. In SOS Village of Cisnadie (Sibiu county) we have a 803 sq m building where 356 children take part on educational activities and training: the building is used as kindergarten, social center, afterschool. Where children learn has an effect on their lives, and this is even more important to help give our children the best start in life, not just in terms of mental health but also academic improvement.
