Home For Home’s mission is to bring relief to low-income families in Mexico, by providing them with a comfortable, livable home. Many from our team built a home in Feb. 2022 for the Guerra Family, Leobardo, Alma, and their 3 kids, because their house burned down on December 18, 2021. Next door is Leobardo’s mom, Gabriela, and her house was also badly damaged. She supports 2 young women and they had nowhere else to go, so continued to live in the partially burnt home. We asked, “when will her home be rebuilt?” I was approached later that day and asked if I could get a team together by April to build Gabriela's home. Here we are! We are also providing furnishings for the home. Now they don't just have to survive but can thrive.
