Project funds for Equipment and Supplies support the Maya Girl Enterprise goal of achieving Days for Girls International GOLD certification. Maya Girl is courageously changing the status quo in Chajul, Guatemala. Women, and girls receive quality menstrual care solutions. Health education is given that includes boys and men, in both Spanish and Maya Ixil. Enterprise seamstresses and health education teachers have income-generating opportunities that give back days of opportunity and health. Days for Girls Enterprise Maya Girl mobilizes girls and women to make their Maya Ixil communities grow stronger.
