The Family Peace Center provides a centralized intake process and coordinated services under one roof for survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence, child abuse, elder abuse and trafficking. Public and private partner agencies assign staff on a full-time or part-time basis to provide services from one location. The facility focuses on reducing the number of times survivors tell their story and the number of places they must go for help, as well as increases access to services and support for survivors and their children. We are raising funds to make beneficial additions to the center, helping clients feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed as they go through the process of getting the support that they need. The additions for the center are as follows: •Privacy blinds (for client rooms to help them feel safe) •Water filtration system for the center (clean drinking water) •DVDs (youth rooms) •Hope Kits (survivor kits) •Diffusers and essential oils (client rooms atmosphere)
