Creative Healing Connections has hosted Healing Arts retreats for Women Veterans for over two decades. This year’s retreat is especially important since it’s the first in-person event since 2019. The struggles faced by female veterans are many, from isolation, substance abuse, mental health, homelessness, to disabilities. The need for community and reconnection has never been greater for our women veterans. Our goal is to raise $1450 by August 15. The Healing Hands Foundation will support our efforts with a matching funds grant. Your generous donation will support scholarships for 15 Women Veterans to attend this year’s Arts & Healing retreat at historic Wiawaka Lodge for Women in Lake George, NY.
