We need your help to build a community center to support Lemongrass farmers and their families in India. The Mayurbhanj district of Odisha is home to more than 2.5 million people, roughly 90% of them live in rural settings. The majority of these individuals are farmers. These amazing farmers have been providing us with Lemongrass essential oil for the past 6 years. We want to show them our gratitude. Community is such an important facet of life in India. It is vital that our Lemongrass farmers have a safe space to gather together. A functional community center would not only supply the community with a place to receive farming training, but it would also provide them a place for religious holidays, parties, and weddings that are of upmost importance in Indian society. The community center will feature electrical appliances and will be furnished for the community’s use.
