We are all experiencing the reality that global climate change is no longer a future problem - it is accelerating at a pace like never before, and now is the time to act. India is not immune to global warming or its effects including pollution of air, water, and the environment, desertification, and deforestation. Deforestation is threatening the Tansa Valley’s ecosystem and the health and livelihoods of the Adivasi tribal people who live there. PRASAD Chikitsa is taking a community-driven approach by expanding our Tree Planting Program to reverse deforestation and escalating our efforts to raise awareness and engagement among community members.
