88,000 loaves of bread! We are partnering with Hope Across Borders, a newly organized small grassroots non-profit organization. We plan to provide bread for villages who are close to the front lines and have had supply chains decimated. • $6,000 can provide 22 tons of wheat grain, enough for about 44,000 loaves of bread. • $3,000 can provide a semi-truck of firewood. • $1,000 can provide 100 Luci Solar Lights. Lena Contor, a Ukrainian humanitarian hero from Idaho, has been hand-delivering Luci Lights one suitcase at a time over the last couple years. She is preparing her eighth trip to Ukraine to deliver lights and bread. The story of the Luci Solar Light is a beautiful story. We can offer light to our Ukrainian friends who are still sheltering in dark basements. A refugee hiding in the basement with her children once said: "...being afraid in the dark was a lot harder than being afraid in the light."
