The SparkPurpose Project supports 8th and 12th graders with workshops that promote social connectedness and personal growth during key transitional times. Addressing social isolation and loneliness—identified by the CDC and US Surgeon General as major public health concerns—SparkPurpose helps students discover their passions, embrace their talents, and develop self-awareness. Through purpose identification, goal setting, resilience building, and social connection activities, students gain a clear sense of direction as they transition into high school or adulthood. By empowering students with these tools, SparkPurpose improves their academic and personal well-being and fosters a more connected, resilient community, reducing the risks linked to isolation.
