During Hannah’s trip this summer with Apostles Raleigh to the Shyogwe Diocese in Rwanda, she witnessed the challenges facing Rwandan women and youth. The lack of employment opportunities left many young women vulnerable to exploitation. Moved by their circumstances, Hannah wanted to leverage her skills in graphic design to empower through training and small business creation. In collaboration with key Diocese leaders Hannah helped develop a training program and will be returning in just a few weeks to train young women with graphic design skills. She will be taking iPads equipped with digital design software for in-person training and will virtually support their business efforts after the trip. This initiative aims to equip young Rwandans with marketable skills, enabling them to create products for the community and the church ministries. By fostering entrepreneurship and skill development, the project aspires to uplift Rwandan women and promote economic self- sufficiency.
