Tumaini's children Charity is based in the UK and started in 2000. It was founded to support Tumaini, a School in Kenya which offers children stuck in the poverty cycle a chance for a better present and future. It is dedicated to creating hope for children in Africa through the provision of food, clothing, shelter, protection and education. Their aim is to break the poverty cycle for these children, giving them real hope for a brighter future. Close to Tumaini is Kibera, the largest Slum in Africa and the second largest Slum in the world! In Kenya, Schools are not open to everyone, there are certain criteria that a child must meet in order to be allowed to attend school. One of these is that each child must have their own school uniform. This one criteria alone, excludes the children found in the Kibera slum as they cannot afford this. We need to raise over £92,000 to help keep this school open. Please help us with this goal.
