Care for Brazil cares for children from poor neighborhoods in semi-boarding schools and provides food, clothing, day care and education in different regions of Brazil. Our Head quarters in São João del Rei, a key part of our work since 1973, is in urgent need of renovation. Over the years, the area has changed significantly—heavy traffic has replaced quiet streets, causing major cracks and structural damage to the building. Renovation has already begun, including the installation of support pillars to reinforce walls and floors. But much more is needed: the floors must be replaced, and the exterior walls require repair and fresh paint.
