As we head into winter, many around the world wonder how they will prepare for the harshness of not only this season, but for LIFE. Young adulthood can be a severe season if unprepared, especially for an aged-out orphan with no family in a war-torn country like Ukraine. We are partnering with The GLOW Mission to "ignite lives and launch destinies" for a group of at-risk orphan graduates, recently released from orphanages. Our project will equip them for LIFE through funding a winter life-skills retreat and outreach program where they will learn financial, relational, and functional skills necessary for surviving "life on your own." We also plan to aid them long-term through ongoing vocational training, educational scholarships and internships. This project will meet physical needs as well by providing housing and necessary renovations for several of our orphan grads, including single moms.
