One Book, One School is a family literacy program that

enables us to create a school-wide book club. During the program the entire school reads the same book, at the same time, on the same schedule. Our goal is to saturate our school community with literacy in a fun and engaging way that centers around families reading together. We desire to create a sense of unity among our students and families through literacy.

Students enjoying recess activities related to this year's book!

This year we read Zoey and Sassafras Dragons and Marshmallows by Asia Citro. It was a hit!

My son and I have made a point to continue reading chapter books to strengthen his reading skills and fluency. Thanks for organizing this wonderful program. It is a great tradition for our community!
