Our team of 15 from age 7 to adult traveled to Tecate, Mexico to build a home for 3 women, Cassandra (17), Fatima (21), and Gabriela (59). They lost their home in a fire on December 18, 2021. We were also able to provide them with some basic furniture. This home was going to be built with or without us, but we decided to make the sacrifice to be a part of this beautiful experience. We wanted to be there to see the anticipation on their faces as the house was being built. The joy on their faces as the house was completed. And to be able to show love and compassion as they heal from their tragedy. Nothing can compare to the feeling you get when you accomplish a mighty task, for someone else.

Our team waiting for our 2 van drivers to pick us up at the San Diego airport.

Just about ready to raise the front wall of the house.

As we were finishing up, I came to this corner, I got very emotional, and started crying. This was the corner of the house that I used as the picture on the Fundraising page picture.

Our team and Gabriela's son and his family along with the ladies in front of their new home all finished.
