The ‘Healthy Mom and Baby Clinic’ (HMBC) is a non-profit organisation that aims to improve the lives of moms and babies in the communities of South Africa through medical, compassionate care, by skilled professionals. The vision of HMBC is to see healthy families as a basis of a healthy society and decrease the number of unnecessary maternal and infant deaths and complications in the communities of South Africa. The mission of HMBC is to offer professional, compassionate healthcare, education and support to all mothers and babies in South Africa. HMBC has grown on all aspects the past 18 years and is today a well-established and respected organization within the local community providing multiple reproductive health services for more than 1000 women and babies each month. The main services are: • Pregnancy care and ultrasound scanning; • Education and support, including teenagers. • Doula services, non-medical birth support during labour • Child care up to 5 years • Women Health
