Families that come to Eva’s Place are fleeing domestic violence, sexual assault or homelessness. Most arrive with only the clothes they are wearing. The children are scared, confused, and understandably upset. This grant provides the tools to help them be a child again. To play, laugh, exercise and forget their worries even if it is for a little while. The options for play and enjoyment allows the notion that these families can and will find happiness again! This NEW & IMPROVED Play Area is going to not only be helpful for the children but also, help the Mamas be able to find relief too!
