Through the Maria Bronx Family Center, the Bronx People Association has taken children from the Bacău placement system, who practice judo, to help them overcome the problems generated by the lack of support from the natural family and to facilitate the construction of a future in which they do not feel limited by the environment they come from, but in which to fight to bring their dreams to life, to assert themselves through sport and performance. Since they moved to the center in September 2019, 12 children have had a diversified program to cover their needs in terms of education, socialization, psycho-emotional and sports development.
Through this project we avoided the redistribution of children in state centers, the possibility of losing the family in which they really found a home where they integrated and developed both in sports and school.
