A la mémoire des enfats Jardin Pédagogique pour la paix

The "Garden of Peace" is the project of the association Subiruseke France which aims to promote dialogue, with and through children, on the historical facts that led to the 1994 genocide, on the Rwandan society of yesterday, today and tomorrow in a perspective of peace. The Garden is located on a 2400m² plot of land acquired by the association, in Rutonde, near a Tutsi genocide memorial. Children will be honored in the Garden of Peace. A place of memory that will highlight the extreme youth of the victims:

- to better know and understand the history of the country.

- to orientate the reflection on the child as a citizen by right, but also on tolerance and the acceptance of difference

- to discover the field of possibilities through the notion of "active, critical, responsible and united citizen".

- actively participate in a collective artistic production on the theme of peace.
