The "Galileo plate for children with disabilities project" initiated by KinetoBebe Association will have a positive impact on children's quality of life, by helping them to reach their full potential for neuromotor and cognitive development. The positives will also extend to the parents, families and the community. KinetoBebe Association coordinates 3 rehabilitation centers, located in Bucharest, where approximately 150 children with a wide range of conditions such as preterm babies, genetic syndromes and neurological or post-traumatic disorders benefit of therapy programs on a daily basis. The aim of the project is to integrate vibration therapy on Galileo devices into the recovery programs, without any additional surcharges, for a number of 120 children who need this type of therapy to enhance the effects of their motor recovery program. Vibration therapy helps children gain balance and vestibular stimulation, ultimately increasing their chances to live independently.
