Tiny Houses for Earthquake Survivors in Southeast Turkey Disaster Relief for Turkey

The fundraiser and finances you provided have been a massive help to many families in the region of South East Turkey, which have been displaced since the earthquake. This area, was most affected and caused 80-90% of the houses to be destroyed and half a million to be homeless.

The funds were used to build 15 tiny homes in the region of Antakiya and Samanda. All materials were bought at a Turkish company and the building process was provided by volunteer workers. The 15 houses provided a save place for whole families and impacted around 60 people.

There is one specific family, which serves as a example for most people there. They have been very afraid and traumatised to sleep in their house as many buildings collapsed even after the earthquake due to continual tremors. They have rather chosen to live besides their homes in the open. Providing a new shelter, restored hope, a safe place and protection from the elements. Thank you for joining us in doing good!
