The Casa Khuyana Association is building the first pediatric hospice (palliative care home) in Peru, located in the Sacred Valley. They willl provide, at no cost, loving, professional care, support and companionship to children and teenagers with chronic or life-threatening illnesses, and their families. Casa Khuyana’s multidisciplinary professional team will address the physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual needs of each child and their family. At the new Casa Khuyana Hospice, every child and their family will be able to be together, without having to worry about anything except sharing quality time.
We will celebrate every moment, every day, and every life.
KHUYANA is a word in the native Quechua language that means:
Worthy of Love and Understanding
Our project built two of the 10 family rooms for the hospice.
