The Mississippi Delta Nature and Learning Center is a place that cares for the earth and the people who live here. They are doing this by providing hands on educational experiences, job training for youth and adults, and outdoor family recreation for people living in and visiting the Mississippi Delta. The doTERRA Healing Hands fundraiser provided the final funding needed to complete the Visitors Center for the Heart and Soul Children's Garden and the parking lot. When the center opens in mid October 2023 they will have field trips for children ages 3-12, a Youth Gardening program, and a Youth Environmental Stewardship program. They will also be open for regular admission Tuesday-Saturday year round. The center will provide regular activities and events to engage children and their families in educational experiences in the outdoors so more people can enjoy the many benefits nature has to offer.
