This project helped support vulnerable children in Eswatini, Africa. With the money raised we focused on the current needs of the children. First, we were able to provide 400 pairs of school shoes & had them distributed in 3 communities. We were also able to provide the funds for 3 Fun Days in 3 communities. This impacted 500 children & families with a meal, hygiene bags, t-shirts and fun activities & games. We loved getting the following report; “The best part was seeing the kids’ faces on the fun days. They all have to work so hard every day just in daily life, so they were super excited to come to a day where they could just be kids & play. One 11 year old girl always has to take care of her 3 younger siblings. When we divided the kids into groups for the fun day, we sent her with the kids her age & took her siblings with the preschool aged kids. The look of relief on her face & then to see her eyes sparkling as she played games & had fun with her friends was priceless!"
