B2S SpellAfrica is an adult literacy NGO in Lagos, Nigeria that provides scholarships to adults who want to learn to read & write. Adult illiteracy is a significant problem in Nigeria, which perpetuates social, emotional, & economic poverty cycles among the underprivileged. Our new friend, Erezi Edoreh, has made it his mission to help as many adults as possible obtain an education & thus be able to lift themselves & their families out of this poverty cycle. His inspiration comes from his mother, who was once an illiterate adult. He watched as she received a scholarship to a literacy program, then progressed to enter the university. She is now employed in the accounting department of a university in Nigeria. She raised her children to be literate & contributing members of society, and her son has been instrumental is changing over 2000 students' lives through literacy. This is what is possible when adults - especially women - can gain an education. Countless others are also blessed.

Many students bring their children with them to class as there is no other childcare available. That way the kids get to learn along with their parents.
