This project helped work to provide sustainable resources for impoverished children in Pakistan to continue receiving quality education. This included textbooks and printed materials, computers and LED screens, a computer lab with desks and chairs, benches for the desks and classrooms, data fees for internet access, play equipment (since the children have been without play equipment for 6 years), funds to establish a nonprofit in Pakistan called the General Education Welfare Society), and an annual program of testing and assembly.
This project impacted all our 200 current students, and their families, along with teachers and our future students who will be using all of this equipment over the next years.
The most important work we can do in the world is rescuing children from various types of bondage. These children were not attending school at all, 6 years ago. So we are making a real difference in their lives, and breaking cycles of generational poverty.
