We have introduced Jolly Phonics Literacy curriculum to four underserved nursery schools in Kasese District of western Uganda. Many children enter primary school without any formal education and are lacking basic ability to read. We are aiming to introduce literacy at a very early age to better prepare these children to succeed in primary school.
