The Mamas for Burundi training center is a vocational center where disadvantaged women, such as those that are disabled or widowed, are able to receive computer skills and sewing training. These skills allow the women who participate to provide for themselves and their families which protects them from the sex industry. The training center accommodates 54 women at a time in 3 month increments and plans to accommodate 160 women total within a 9 month period.
