Emergency Hygiene Kits Delivered

Prior to our involvement, we learned about a Mexican foster care center in need of improvements to their overall water systems and plumbing. The foster care children were becoming unwell due to the plumbing situation and poor sanitation.

Thanks to dHHF and our collaboration with Leaders2Give, we upgraded and covered the water cisterns and did thorough upgrades to the majority of the plumbing servicing this foster care center. Living conditions were improved dramatically as the overall sanitation issues have been resolved. Over 30 children now have toilets, sinks, and showers that function. Due to new cisterns, with a new cover, clean water is readily available. With covered cisterns, water can be used all day as it doesn't overheat in the sun.

We also used funding for construction materials for a brand new orphanage in Mexico.

Happy foster care child enjoying treats we shared with all of the kids during one of our service visits. Her hair had been cut off due to lice. We shared Tea Tree oil to help with lice moving forward.

New cisterns prior to the cover installation. Prior to the cover, children could have fallen in to the open spaces. Also, the water would become too hot for use.

Presentation of the Emergency Hygiene Kits. Roberto, the founder of the foster care, helped me with translation from English to Spanish.

All of the foster children with the founders of the center, Roberto and Alma. Shelley and I are also included in this photo representing Leaders2Give and dHHF.

doTERRA HHF kindly donated enough emergency relief kits for each foster child.
