Exchanging Playtime for Hope Kids For Kids

Exchanging playtime for hope is about kids becoming sponsors of their less fortunate peers. It is kids being there for other kids. In the repair and reuse atelier we have created, kids get to mend and reinvent old and broken toys, books and other items. Once given a new life, the preloved items get to be offered to other kids and avoid becoming waste. This translates into values related to kindness, sustainability and circular economy as well as a fun and engaging way of practicing maths, science skills, financial and entrepreneurship. And of course, this all counts towards making a change in our community of children and parents. This is where the access to relevant and healthy education is essential. This is where the practical learning experience can make a dramatic impact on how children learn. And this is also where there is a great need for awareness and action on sustainability practices.
