We are volunteer English teachers here in the Dominican Republic. We teach kids who come from difficult backgrounds and circumstances. The school that we teach at has no outdoor areas for the kids. There is a piece of land next to the school that we plan on developing and turning into an area for the students and the community. We plan on landscaping the area and adding a playground, soccer net, benches, trees, and other things to beautify the area. We believe that it’s important for kids to have a safe space outdoors for them to explore and be creative. With help from these donations we can convert this land into a safe, beautiful, and fun area for them.
