Hearts of Joy International provides life saving heart surgery to children with Down syndrome from impoverished countries where families can't afford medical care. With the congenital heart defects, these children are prone to a lot of breathing, chest and lung infections. Our team is traveling to our partner hospital in India in February for a mission where we will provide heart surgeries for 4 children, 2 from the Philippines and 2 from Uganda.
