Hope Matters is a veteran-driven local 501C3 with a triple focus mission to magnify hope in the difficult journeys of cancer, Alzheimer's, and military deployments. Each year, a major fundraiser is held to honor senior citizens. Funds raised through the “Hands of Compassion” Prom in March 2020 will help provide Hope Matters the financial capacity to expand their programs to more families across the Emerald Coast. Funds raised from the Hands of Compassion Senior prom will enable Hope Matters to continue offering its programs at no cost to participants - as gifts from the heart should be. These programs include monthly Neighborhood Memory Cafes for dementia patients and their families, annual stocking projects for oncology patients unable to be home during the holidays, Hope Kits for military moms enrolled in New Parent Support Programs at local military bases, artistically focused workshops for military families, and much, much more. Your donation will allow Hope Matters to significantly expand their reach providing hope to those facing life’s most difficult challenges.
