This fundraiser will provide sewing materials and instruction for widows and women in remote villages near Mussoorie, India. Several years ago my family provided for a young widow named Sunita to attend a sewing school in another community. She is now able to provide for her family. This birthed a dream to create a sewing school to empower the lives of many women into the future in these villages. There are currently 35 women who have expressed interest. The money from this campaign will be used to purchase sewing machines, scissors, fabric, and thread to start the school.
