Helping individuals & communities achieve self-reliance is a big job. We partner with organizations and Advocates who help us empower impoverished communities, fight human trafficking, and respond to natural disasters.
We’re seeking to empower communities worldwide to make sustainable change by supporting initiatives that alleviate extreme poverty, improve quality of life, and ensure basic human rights.
Humanitarian work isn’t always traveling to faraway places or organizing large-scale projects. We believe that empowering individuals to engage however they can is enough to change the world.

The One School, One Book program at Washington Elementary School is a family literacy program that enables us to create a school-wide book club. During the program the entire school reads the same book, at the same time, on the same schedule. Our goal is to saturate our school community with literacy in a fun and engaging way that centers around families reading together. We desire to create a sense of unity among our students and families through literacy. Funds from this campaign will be used to purchase a book for each of the 600 children in the school, as well as the engaging resources and activities related to the book to be used throughout the program.
