On Wednesday, August 9th, Hawaii declared a state of emergency after devastating wildfires destroyed the historic town of Lahaina, Maui and other areas. As the devastation continues, our hearts and prayers are with our doTERRA family in Hawaii and their loved ones who have been impacted by this disaster. Join us in supporting those who have been displaced with emergency necessities, supplies, and accommodations, as well as in rebuilding Hawaiian communities. doTERRA Healing Hands and Wellness Advocate leaders are working together to partner with on the ground organizations to identify and meet immediate and future needs of those affected locally. Thanks to the generosity of a doTERRA Executive Founder, every dollar raised through this doTERRA Healing Hands link will be matched up to $100,000. As always, 100% of donations go directly to aid because doTERRA International covers the operating costs of the foundation. #EngageInGood

Mālama Maui Update

Thanks to your generosity, we’ve already reached our goal to raise $100,000 for Maui! These funds will be matched, doubling our impact. doTERRA Healing Hands® is already hard at work helping the people impacted by the Maui fires. So far we have:

  • Distributed 8,300 72 Hour Emergency Relief Hygiene Kits. When the devastation in Maui began, doTERRA Healing Hands immediately jumped in to support local Wellness Advocates. By August 11, 2023, 4500 kits were on the ground in Maui and being distributed. doTERRA Healing hands was able to coordinate with Eliza Yoshida who engaged 79 members of her community to get disaster relief kits into the hands of those who needed them the most.

  • Supplied over $45,000 worth of doTERRA® product. Working in collaboration with nonprofits in Hawaii, we have donated doTERRA Breathe® drops, Lavendar Touch, Tea Tree Touch, Correct-X®, Sunscreen, and other doTERRA products.

  • Donated to ALL PONO. This donation will be used to provide baseball, softball, hula, and other sports equipment to support a community focus on the children in Maui impacted by the fires.

  • Donated to the Hana Arts Center. In the wake of the fires, the Hana Arts Center hosted a fundraiser for the Common Ground Collective, which provides meals to those displaced by the Lahaina fires. Through this donation to the fundraiser, 2,223 meals will be provided.

  • Donated to New Hope Maui. As people in Hawaii recover from the Maui fires, the need for help and support continues. This donation funded resources to help with trauma retreats for individuals affected by the fires.
