FTC, Inc. is about changing the lives of young, school-age girls in Baja, California, Mexico who have been taken from their homes by government family services due to an environment of drug abuse, economic hardship or abandonment. These girls are sent to live in places called “Casa Hogares,” which are essentially orphanages. Once they turn 18, they must leave the Casa Hogar and often have nowhere to go. We at FTC, Inc. are focused on changing their lives by providing educational support, electronics, books, medical and dental support, development of life skills and mentorship, with the end-goal being financial independence and contribution to their community. This project with doTerra is about raising funds toward building transitional housing for these young women so they have a safe place to live and work while attending college or starting their careers.
