This project will build towards creating a published book with incarcerated women's creative pieces (poetry, visual art, songs, photographs, and stories), side by side creative work from women on the outside. Our project aims to break down the walls that divide us and keep us apart. We believe that when we connect creatively by sharing our stories, we have an ability to heal and transform ourselves and the world. This project is part of our ongoing weekly class at Coffee Creek Correctional Facility, Oregon's only female prison housing 1600 women. On The Inside of prison, our stories, and our hearts. We create creative connection for women worldwide.
